First and foremost I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your wonderful hospitality and the auspicious welcome that was extended to me during my recent visit to the U. S. You made me feel at home and among family in all the cities and communities I visited.

It is now my time to reciprocate and invite you to come to Israel - my home and where God is hard at work to welcome the nations of the world! The Ethiopian Outreach project in Israel, in August 2016 is not just a tour, this is a great mission that is very dear to my heart.

Here in Israel, I wish to introduce you to my country, my home and my Ethiopian community. Here, I want you to witness a modern day miracle by introducing you to 10's of thousands of Ethiopian brothers and sisters who live in Israel in complete equality, unity and harmony. I want you to meet thousands of my people who were rescued in the face of death and taken out of Africa, not for exploitation, but to be given freedom, liberty and justice. I wish to show you an African community that is born again and has been given a new life in Israel. (Just imagine, in one night; thousands were airlifted from the middle of a desert war thorn Sudan to a safe haven in Israel.) I wish to show you an African community that is now 100% integrated to society, among them, doctors, lawyers, accountants and scientists. With the help of the State of Israel, we preserve our Ethiopian culture, heritage and history. As of now, there are people in Ethiopia that are still being brought to Israel.

I want you to see what the media is not showing you and ask you to become ambassadors of "Good Will." Be sure to join me in Israel with The Ethiopian Outreach 2016 and make history with this exciting trip to the Land of the Bible. Greetings in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

With a great pleasure and honor I invite you to join us on a most unique trip to Israel. This is not just a tour, this is a MISSION!

COGIC Presiding Bishop Charles Blake sanctioned this mission as an outreach to the Ethiopian Community in Israel. Furthermore, the presiding Bishop appointed Bishop George D McKinney to lead this mission and he appointed me as the director of COGIC missions to Israel! This is nothing short of a miracle and a history in the make. We offer the thousands of COGIC churches worldwide the opportunity to support our outreach to the Ethiopian community in the Holy Land of Israel. On this mission we will meet with the members of the community and we will celebrate with them the incredible works of the Lord!

We will also experience and enjoy the first ever Gospel Concert in Jerusalem...

Leaders of the Ethiopian community in Israel have shared with us a tremendous excitement and great anticipation. The mission will include informative meetings, visits to the community and on location panel discussions. You will meet with Ethiopian local leaders, academics, policy makers and of course Miss Israel.

Naturally, we will also walk in the footsteps of Jesus and will visit all the biblical and historical Christian and Jewish sites, including the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, the Sea of Galilee, the stations of the cross, Mt Zion, Mt. of Olives and much more. You will experience the bible come alive before your very eyes!

Following the 2013 historic visit of Yitish Aynaw, (the first Jewish Ethiopian Miss Israel) to the United States, African American church leaders will reciprocate by traveling to Israel for a missions outreach to the Ethiopian Jewish community. Since missions are the essential purpose of the Church, demonstrating God's love by meeting the needs of others, it is our pleasure to invite you to join us on the NJCLC and the NBEA in Israel, July 6-16, 2015, for a "historical first ever" Juneteenth mission outreach to Israel.

Juneteenth, the "19th of June", is the date in 1865 when the end of enslavement was announced. The newly freed Americans of African descent broke out into spontaneous freedom celebrations, henceforth, establishing America's second Independence Day celebration.

The Jewish people can deeply identify with the atrocities suffered through African slavery since they have experienced slavery and even genocide. The descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, were enslaved in Egypt for 420 years until the emancipation of Hebrew slaves around 1220 B.C. This was followed by their journey to the Promised Land. God remained faithful to Israel's covenant when the remnant of those still under threat in Ethiopia were miraculously brought out to freedom in Israel.

The U. S. Juneteenth observances in 2016 will culminate with this historical mission to Israel. The mission will be in conjunction with the Ethiopian community in Israel, and we heartily invite and welcome you to what will be a most informative and exciting expedition that focuses on unity and reconciliation.

In this one of a kind trip to Israel, we will meet with local leaders, teachers, academics, government officials and with Miss Israel. In addition, you will have an opportunity to visit some of Israel's most renowned religious sites, including the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, Mount Carmel, the Mount of Beatitudes, Calvary, Gethsemane, the Dead Sea, the Garden Tomb, the Sea of Galilee, Nazareth and much more.

We invite you to celebrate Juneteenth 2016 in Israel, following the observances in the USA, and bring the message of reconciliation and healing to the Land of the Bible. Come make history with us!
